Welcome :)

I've set up a blog so that I can document events in my life and so that you can all follow me on my quest to fitness over the next few months.  First of, I would like to tell you a little about myself.
Hi, I'm Katie and I'm an 18 year old student from Essex.  I'm off to university in September and I feel like I need a lifestyle change to get me prepared for the huge life change that I have coming up ahead of me.

Now, I've never been one for being necessarily fit and I NEED to change that so that I can live a better way of life.  I currently go to the gym but I don't have a very good routine that I follow.  I often make excuses not to go, which I know is bad, but I've decided to take a stand.  I am going to get myself to the gym as often as I can and dedicate at least 2 days a week to going for sure.  If I get to go any other time then brilliant.  I have also invested in some weight loos protein shakes from Protein World which should hopefully be coming tomorrow and I am extremely excited to try them out.  I've always found it hard to lose weight and no matter what I try, I'm never happy with the outcome or what I look like, which is why I've decided to give this a go.

I am going to make a blog post on 'The Slender Blend' product and my initial thoughts when I get it.  I will also make a post after a week to document what I think of the changes and if I see any improvement.  I know a week isn't really a good period of time to judge the effects of something like this, but I have read a lot of reviews and apparently this stuff works wonders, so I'm really looking forward to it.

As well as keeping a regular update of my fitness and my improvements and how I'm feeling within myself, I am also going to keep a sort of journal to document some memorable life events that I am going to be more than happy to share with you as I journey to university.  I am really looking forward to what is going to come of documenting my progress like this and I hope that someone out there will get some sort of motivation or tips from me that you can use to improve you way of life.
